RITA PEREIRA

Rita joined NDR (now EDGE International Lawyers) in 2003 and, after having worked in the firm’s UK and Cape Verde offices, she is now Head of the Litigation Department in the Lisbon office. She became a Partner in 2014. Rita is also qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales since 2008. Her main areas of practice are civil and commercial law, with particular emphasis on Civil Liability & Personal Injury, Travel Law, Insurance Law, the Law of Contracts and Private International Law. Rita collaborates with several English and Irish Law Firms and other Authorities, giving legal Expert advice in civil law matters, particularly in matters of Contracts, Civil Liability & Personal Injury and Travel Law. She has also acted as Portuguese Expert in several Civil Liability Matters being heard in foreign courts. She also assists several national and international clients in pre-litigation matters.
